In addition to its engagement with policy-makers at national and international level, ICLA is home to a number of ongoing research projects, often inspired by its engagements, or directly contributing to them. These research projects, some of which also form part of the research agenda of the Centre for Human Rights, are often aimed at lending an African perspective to questions of international law or standards, or at examining cross-cutting issues through a comparative lens.
