Lukman is a senior lecturer in the Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is also the coordinator of postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin. Lukman is currently a member of the Facebook Data Protection Expert Group for African Region.
Lukman is an Iso Lomso research fellow (2020-2023) of the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS). He was formerly a postdoctoral researcher at the South African Research Chair in International Constitutional Law, University of Pretoria, South Africa.
Areas of Research Interest- Digital rights and constitutionalism, data protection and privacy law, constitutional law and information technology law.
